October 16 2010: There’s no excuse not to attend a Gathering next year with an additional date on the EFT calendar.
In addition to the regular West Yorkshire event in January, a Spring Gathering has been scheduled for 21-22 May in the Midlands.
The organisers, led by Roy Martin, are working hard to ensure the spring event provides an informative, fun, friendly, relaxing and enjoyable setting for a community of like-minded and hearted people.
“Over the two days we’re lining up some exciting guest speakers who are enthusiastic about their field of work and will share their life-transforming experiences using EFT and associated techniques,” says Roy.
“Delegates will see some amazing live sessions, and have lots of opportunities to mix and connect with others with similar interests and to make new friends. We will also be holding a social event on the Saturday evening.
“Our speakers are volunteering their time and their presentations will span a range of issues from working with serious diseases and health issues to children and businesses. Additionally for this Gathering we will have a key note speaker on each day.”
The Gathering provides a friendly and supportive first stage for practitioners and trainers to share their experiences. Roy is keen for potential speakers, even those who haven’t presented before, to get in touch with him. “We would be particularly pleased to hear from practitioners who can share their experiences on working with sports people, education, improving performance and different approaches with energy psychology,” he says.
“They will have the opportunity to share their passion and help others take their practices in new directions. It doesn’t matter if they aren’t seasoned trainers or public speakers. We will help them create a talk that flows, is informative and after some tapping they won’t have a fear in the world!
“The event is extremely good value for money and not for profit. Everyone pays the registration fee and everyone helps out however they can, even if it’s just by spreading the word.”
The EFT Spring Gathering is taking place at the Ramada Resort Hotel, Sutton Coldfield, on Saturday and Sunday May 21-22. The Ramada is set in beautiful surroundings with a small lake and extensive grounds, plus a spa and gym. It’s only 25 minutes’ drive from the airport so even those north of the border can fly in and join the fun.
The gathering is being organised in association with AAMET which will be holding its AGM late Saturday afternoon as well as the AAMET trainers’ conference all day on Friday May 20. The weekend event costs just *£125, including lunches and refreshments (*EFT Spring Gathering event, Saturday and Sunday only).
“There will also be a number of interesting one–day workshops on the Friday,” Roy adds.
