A round up of recent EFT news.

Update from the training panel

update

We have recently heard from Tam Llewellyn, non-executive chairman of AAMET, that he has received complaints that the Training Panel is exceeding its remit. This is correct in the sense that the panel has never had a formal remit.

Over the last nine months, we have simply got on with whatever issues seemed to require attention within AAMET, with the full knowledge and support of all, or so we thought.

Clearly we now need to reassess the situation so that everyone understands who is responsible for what.

The TPL has therefore asked the management team to provide it with a formal written remit, and in the meantime has halted all work, other than issues of a pure ‘training’ nature.

We will keep you informed of developments.

John Bullough (on behalf of the Training Panel Leaders)
